CAliMA for Artists

CAli*MA is a Marketing Agency for Artists, founded by Claudia Ali and based in Luxor, Egypt. CAli*MA's aim is to enable artists to grow, not only professionally, but also personally; to support artists by taking over tedious administrative tasks so they have more spare time to live their passion. No matter if an artist studied art or is self-taught, no matter if he is a beginner or a veteran in the art field, we address everybody's needs.

Our Vision

Our vision is that many of the strategies of CAli*MA will be obsolete someday. When unversities and academies put them on their curricula and not only teach the art students to create art, but also how to sell art. But by then: Our vision is not only to support single artists but also to build a network of artists who offer their newly acquired skills to their colleagues in Arabic.

Our Team

German art enthusiast Claudia Ali co-founded the Nūn Art Gallery in Luxor in 2019 and was for more than three and a half years responsible, amongst other things, for public relations, publishing and media. Needless to say, she met many artists while organising art exhibitions and art events. Some of them were over-challenged by the requirements of a well-managed exhibition or the need to promote it, although their art was outstanding. So, after numerous joint conversations, the idea of CAli*MA was born.

Claudia is also healing practitioner for psychotherapy with long-time experiences in self-marketing; she is web designer and owner of and writer/photographer for several websites concerning Luxor. She and her husband Ali Qenawy, the co-owner of CAli*MA, founded Leben in Luxor, Living in Luxor and Tasmim Luxor, which they successfully manage together since 2009. Contact details
