With this intensive two-day workshop, sculpture artist Mahmoud Mokhtar starts a series of workshops and passes on his knowledge of various sculpture techniques. Complete beginners are very welcome.

During the November workshop, for which Mahmoud Mokhtar opens his studio doors in Cairo, you’ll follow his guidance to create a unique work from a small gypsum block. You will learn how to transfer the sketch of your idea onto the stone, how to treat the stone, and how to use different tools methodically. At the end of the two days, you can take home a sculpture you will be proud of.
